Position Title: General Warehouse Employee (Label Maker)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7: 00 AM - 4: 30 PM

Pay Rate: $17.00/HR

Position Summary:

The General Warehouse Employee Label Maker is responsible for creating and printing labels as the primary function of the role. When not assigned to label-making, the employee will assist in other warehouse operations as directed by management, based on departmental needs and the employee s skills, experience, and aptitude. This role requires computer proficiency, the ability to read and write in English, and strong attention to detail.

Position Relationships:

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Supervises: May occasionally lead small teams as directed
Internal Interactions: Frequent interaction with warehouse team members;occasional interaction with other company employees
External Interactions: Occasional interaction with truck drivers, vendors, and customers

Position Requirements:

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience
Familiarity with UCC-128 labels
Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central
Physical Abilities:
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs repeatedly
Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods
Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Ability to complete computer-based tasks for extended periods
Adequate manual dexterity for packaging, labeling, and similar warehouse tasks
Communication Skills:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
Ability to read emails, pick tickets, and related documents
Ability to write clear internal and external emails
Ability to read and interpret customer vendor and routing guides
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Bartender label software
Experience with Zebra label printers
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Ability to use the internet for scheduling and information gathering
Other Requirements:
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and organization
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to perform accurate basic arithmetic using a calculator
Strong work ethic and reliability

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Create and print UCC-128 labels
Create and print labels of various sizes using laser and Zebra printers
Calculate carton quantities and determine shipment carton needs
Print required labels in a timely manner
Prepare bills of lading
Schedule and/or submit shipments

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Sort pick demands
Pick, pack, and label orders
Inspect and rework products as needed
Perform quality assurance checks
Assist with general warehouse cleanup and maintenance
Perform other duties as assigned
