Job Description
Job Title: Payroll Specialist | Shift: 8 am - 4: 30 pm |Pay Rate: $19/HR
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review staff agency daily attendance (T&A s) for accuracy
- Review and submit to DC management for approval for company attendance reports (T&As) weekly.
- Oversees pullers incentive report to ensure accuracy.
- Process company Payroll through Paychex Flex / bi-weekly, must meet deadline
- Prepares staff agency and company weekly payroll cost reports for Admin- Accounting on a weekly basis, must meet deadlines
- Provide customer service for employees - on payroll related inquiries and requests.
- Reviews, researches and approves agency Payroll Action Request (PAR), as needed
- Audit and approve weekly agency invoices.
- Assist with other job-related duties as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
- 1-2 years experience with Payroll or similar background preferred
Computer Skills:
- Strong computer skills required
- Excel and all Microsoft automation a must
Reasoning Ability:
- Must be able to interact with all levels of management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills
- Knowledge of distribution center operations a plus
- PayChex Flex knowledge a plus
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Able to adhere to strict deadlines
