Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Kitchen Quality Assurance Associate to help ensure food products, processes, and kitchen operations meet company quality, food-safety, and sanitation standards. This position will monitor production activities, perform quality checks, and report any issues that may affect product quality or food safety.
Work Responsibilities
- Monitor kitchen and food-production processes to ensure quality and food-safety standards are followed.
- Perform routine quality inspections of food products, ingredients, equipment, and work areas.
- Check products for proper appearance, temperature, weight, labeling, and overall quality.
- Verify that employees are following established food-safety and sanitation procedures.
- Document quality checks, inspections, and findings accurately.
- Identify and report quality or food-safety concerns to management.
- Assist with investigating product or process issues and help identify corrective actions.
- Monitor proper handling, storage, and preparation of food products.
- Ensure production areas meet required cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Follow company policies, HACCP procedures, and applicable food-safety requirements.
- Communicate quality concerns clearly with production and management teams.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork.
- Perform other quality assurance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance, food production, food safety, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
- Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen/food-production environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work 1st shift.
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
