Joliet Staffing is seeking an experienced Safety Loss Prevention Manager to join our team in Minooka, IL. This position is responsible for leading safety and loss prevention initiatives within a high-volume distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing safety programs, conducting investigations, improving workplace safety, and partnering with operations teams to maintain a secure and compliant workplace.

Job Summary
The Safety Loss Prevention Manager oversees all aspects of safety and loss prevention operations within the distribution center. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining safety programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA standards, managing investigations, reducing operational risks, and promoting a safe work environment for all employees. The Manager will work closely with facility leadership and operational teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective safety and security practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage daily Safety and Loss Prevention operations within the distribution center.
- Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety and loss prevention programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify safety hazards, security risks, and areas for improvement.
- Lead investigations involving workplace injuries, accidents, theft, product loss, inventory discrepancies, and policy violations.
- Partner with Operations, Inventory Control, and Management teams to reduce shrink and improve safety performance.
- Review safety reports, incident documentation, and operational records for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate safety audits, inventory audits, and loss prevention reviews as needed.
- Develop and maintain safety procedures, emergency response plans, and reporting processes.
- Train employees and leadership teams on safety procedures, loss prevention practices, emergency protocols, and incident reporting.
- Ensure all incidents, investigations, and corrective actions are properly documented.
- Monitor surveillance systems, security procedures, and loss prevention technology.
- Analyze safety trends and recommend solutions to reduce workplace risks.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to employees regarding safety and security expectations.
- Address employee concerns, safety issues, and operational challenges professionally.
- Collaborate with facility leadership to improve overall safety performance and operational efficiency.
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Safety, Loss Prevention, Security, Warehouse Operations, or Distribution Center management preferred.
- Prior leadership or management experience required.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, workplace safety practices, and loss prevention procedures.
- Experience conducting investigations and preparing incident reports.
- Ability to analyze situations, identify risks, and make sound decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
